1.
eCom Subscriptions

Challenge

Redesigning Specsavers' three overlapping contact lens subscription journeys

Method

Investigated the complexities of the business rules, legal requirements and data sources for subscriptions across three regions and seven countries

Designed all the journey screens and variants, utilising existing UI components as much as possible and evolving new ones where needed

Employed carefully structured layouts with detailed annotations to enable client stakeholders and the Dev team to comprehend the broad picture as well as the detail

As this work exceeded Figma's max file size, created four separate docs linked via a bespoke contents module that also provided context and narrative

Created three fully-functional prototypes, then ran qualitative usability testing in the different regions, integrating findings into the final versions

2.
Augmented Reality

Challenge

Designing journeys and interface around 'Virtual Try On' tool

Method

Ran competitor & comparator usability testing to understand what customers want from VTO

Investigated the siloed data sources in order to create algorithms for a carousel that pulls in the best 'related products' under various use cases

Pivoted at the 11th hour when client chose a new 3rd party supplier, to better utilise those strengths and design an even better experience

3.
Workstream Oversight

Challenge

Lead a UX team whilst keeping oversight of dozens of projects and stakeholders

Method

Individual oversight sessions with four UXers, twice-weekly UX team sessions, close collaboration with UI and Copy teams

Earned the trust of each client stakeholder team through regular sharing and demo sessions

Created a giant oversight Figma that used infographics, photos and screengrabs to keep track of dozens of client projects and stakeholders
